It all started when Owner and founder Robert Pagel aka Bobby, or Bob. Had the opportunity to help pour Concrete for his fathers house addition back in the early 2000's. Being in My early teens I was just doing what I was told to do.  Rake out and help place the concrete from the wheel barrows that would get brought around the house and dumped every 2 minutes or so. The Pour seemed like it took Forever. Getting a chance and troweling and making the concrete smooth at the end was fun!

 

    Low and Behold about 8 years later out of high school I started working at a production concrete company. I Fell in love with the trade and after attending the 3 year Journeyman Finishers Program it really settled in that I would be doing this for my entire career. I really fell in love with creating art with Decorative Concrete. I continued getting more certifications such as an ADA certification and also a pcc-tech certification allowing me to Test Concrete.

    After about 4 seasons of  working 50-70 hours a week for the production company, Then working late nights and all weekend on my own projects for customers. I Knew something had to change. A person can only take so much of putting in 100-120 hour weeks. When the work load got so deep and the phone wouldn't stop ringing I knew it was time to take the leap of faith and Run my own business Full time. The Scariest yet most rewarding decision I've ever had to make. As I Am typing this Paragraph I'm finally launching my website live. (It only took me 7 years to do) haha.
